Project 1:
Fifa WorldCup Game
Description:
A bet game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, developed in 2017 for ColJuegos (a Colombian company) using PHP and an SQL database. The game allowed users to create accounts, view match schedules, place bets, and receive notifications via PhpMailer.
Role:
I was responsible for developing the core PHP codebase, designing and implementing the SQL database schema, integrating the PhpMailer library for email notifications, conducting thorough testing, and collaborating with the project team and ColJuegos stakeholders.
Project 2:
Tradex USA Logistics
Description:
This project involved transforming a company with no technological infrastructure into a robust and integrated Transportation Management System (TMS) for managing transportation operations.
The TMS allowed for seamless load management, integration with transportation banks in the USA and Europe, and facilitated global connectivity. The TMS enabled features such as creating and managing load orders, tracking shipments, and coordinating with carriers, providing a comprehensive solution for transportation operations.
The web-based Autodialer application incorporated VoIP technology, allowing brokers to make and receive calls directly through the application and eliminating the need for traditional phone systems. This innovative solution facilitated efficient communication with carriers, reduced operational costs, and improved overall productivity for the brokerage team.
Role:
As the lead developer, I was in charge of a team of 6 people. I built and helped make the Website, LoadBoard, TMS, and the Integration with transportation banks. I developed the web-based Auto Dialer application, streamlining broker tasks for over 100 employees. Additionally, I made a mobile application using React Native during my assignment in the Netherlands.
Project 3:
Integrated Software Solution for Hospital Services: Laundry, Sterilization, and Beyond
Description:
The project involved developing software for hospital laundry and sterilization processes. The sterilization module managed surgical instrument tracking and sterilization cycles. The laundry module handled reconditioning, washing, and distribution of linens. The suite offered data management, enabling hospitals to monitor operations, enhance efficiency, and maintain high patient care standards.
Role:
As a Programmer member of a team, I started using Java EE, Scala and LitElement, i suggested and led the transition to React with TypeScript, NestJS for enhanced user experience. I incorporated Cypress for thorough end-to-end testing, ensuring reliable performance across environments. My experience in data management and application distribution addressed diverse needs of the enterprise, delivering a robust, scalable solution for improved operations.
